image for New game sweeps Facebook
There might even be dinosaurs

A new game is sweeping Facebook called VilleVille.

This revolutionary new game incorporates many of the existing social games on the Social Networking site.

"We're quite excited by this new project," said Xander Singer, head of Xinga Games. "It's basically an entire world constructed out of all our other games."

The game begins very simply, letting the player build up technology and take on other proto-civilisations eventually developing agriculture. This then allows the formation of primitive cities that can be built up into major metropolises. The farming still has to continue as the cities build up, feeding an ever growing populace.

Within the cities, shops need stocking and managing, and crime will obviously be on the increase which will see the rise of the Mafia. Stocked shops will need people to purchase things, and there will be a rise of education, whilst out on the frontier, individuals can be sent out to start new homesteads.

"We may throw in some superheroes, zombies and vampires," said Xander, "Just to keep things interesting for the boys."

That should be a problem however, with so many concurrent streams including growing wine, solving crime, building an education system, running a zoo and hunting for treasure all against a backdrop of the other millions of people playing the game.

"It's going to be massive," Xander said. "You can advance quite well on your own, but throw in twelve hundred friends and you'll soar! There's things for everybody. Farming, shopping, animals, warfare and zombies! What can go wrong?"
