Please look after your 'shell likes'

Don't worry if you can't afford and expensive convertible. Recent research has discovered that riding in a convertible with the top down can damage your hearing. (This should come as no surprise, even if you do not have a PhD.)

Most people who can afford such vehicles are often pop stars who have already damaged their hearing with their own music over the years not to mention the ears of millions of teenagers and young people who don't seem to be able to enjoy music unless their car is 'vibrating' and they can be heard 2 blocks away.

To these people, a night out 'clubbing' is not considered to have been fun unless you have had to yell to the person next to you in order to be heard in the club and then wake up the next day with no voice. Now THAT was a great night.

Another group of people seen driving these expensive convertibles are retirees who already half deaf and have been waiting and saving for a long time be able to afford such a 'toy'.

So WHY why bother with expensive studies to find out what we already know? The money would be better much spent on continuing to do research to find a cure for cancer and other serious illnesses.

If people 'choose' to be idiots and subject themselves to ear-damaging drives with the 'top' down then so be it.

Make Lady Godiva's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
