image for Google help the British Government spy on its population
MI5 are listening and have discovered who voted online for Wagner

The British government has secretly hired Google and some of the world's top virus writers to help them combat global terrorism, or so they say now that they have been found out.

The Google Street Cars recently went around Britain ostensibly mapping and photographing British streets. It came to light that they had also been picking up data on WiFi hotspots. Now, it has also come to light that the British government had hired some of the world's top virus writers to produce a trojan virus which the Google Street cars installed on every computer with a WiFi router, whether it was encrypted or not.

"We have installed this software in an effort to keep watch on every computer user in Britain," said Head of MI5, John Smith. "For the past eighteen months, every computer sold in Britain has had this trojan on it, but there were a wealth of computers out there that were sold before 2009, which lacked the trojan and could be used by nefarious terrorist agents within our shores."

Governments around the world have been attempting to get ISPs to provide the data they want, but almost all have declined. The British Government wouldn't be denied, however, and have surreptitiously gone ahead with their underhand plan, a plan purported to have been copied by their American and European counterparts.

Internet Security expert, Caspar Skye, suspects that the "Terrorism Badge" as he calls it, is a smoke screen.

"It's a money making scheme, pure and simple," said Skye. "have you noticed how much more targeted Google ads have become since this insidious act? Exactly. In addition, there is a lot of money to be made for selling email lists, and the British Government have been doing just that to swell their expenses coffers."

MI5 deny everything.

Nothing new there, then.
