A test could indicate whether people in their 40s are more likely to develop dementia later in life, scientists say. But wouldn't many of us rather not know?
The statistics are scary: One in three people aged over 65 will die with dementia.
However, the good news is that scientists have created a method that will give advanced indication of Alzheimers Disease. They have developed a miniature treadmill that exercises the brain in order to try and help Dementia patients. It is designed to help jog their memory.
One lucky participant says, "I'm half blind and have bouts with dementia and am subject to blackouts.... I can't remember if I'm 89 or 98. I've lost all my friends. I just can't remember when I got diagnosed with Alzheimers...
But, thanks to the Brain Jogger, I still have my driver's license.
