What Is It!

Houston, TX-- NASA scientists alerted President Obama today about a troubling situation in Outer Space. A massive flying saucer is following the Earth. The alien spacecraft seems to to be spying on the Earth, and could be very dangerous. NASA scientists told the president they are also very troubled by something else--the giant UFO is "doing something" to the world's oceans.

NASA has been monitoring the mammoth UFO since last year. The eerie UFO is usually seen at night, but sometimes can be seen during the day. No part of the Earth can escape its evil gaze. Everyone agrees the UFO looks 'mysterious and haunting'.

One night a few weeks ago, the glowing UFO disappeared completely from the sky, and astronomers thought it had returned to its own planet. The mysterious orb reappeared the next evening, smaller in size, and sporting strange horn-like appendages--most likely a weapon.

Scientists are also concerned about what the alien spacecraft is doing to the oceans. A mysterious energy source from the craft actually raises the oceans twice a day by several inches. Scientists are afraid the giant UFO is either trying to suck up the oceans, or create giant tsunamis.

NASA knows many facts about the UFO, but they still don't know what to call it. They know it's about 200,000 mile away and that it's too big to be man-made. There are strange markings on the face of the UFO. Some people think the markings look like a rabbit, while others think it looks like a man's face. A contest was held at NASA to give the UFO a name. NASA's head honcho, Dr. Karl Saygun, won the contest.

"I reviewed all the facts in the case, and I checked the historical record for similar astronomical events." said the silly spacey scientist. "There is only one name I can think to call it." he said.

"It's called the Moon."
