image for Hubble Telescope Finds Really Crap Planet - Not Much Excitement
This One Looks Promising...

Reports are coming in that last night the Hubble Telescope found a really crap planet, and that astronomers didn't get very excited at all by the discovery.

The planet, which is apparently a long way away is said to be of little interest to anybody. As scientist Dr Bradford Park-Avenue explained:

"I don't think you could really describe what we found as a planet. It seems like it's just a ball of gas with no moons, fancy rings, or giant red spots. And it certainly doesn't have any canals or ice caps or anything remotely interesting. I'll be glad to get home after my shift and put my feet up. Maybe watch a movie or something on the telly. An early night's not really an option either because the wife's got the painters in."

Our research unearthed the fact that gas-ball planets aren't really very exciting, and quite frankly will never be of any use. Unless we want some gas. It seems you can't even walk on a gas-ball planet because it's made only of gas, so you'd just fall right through it.

It seems the only thing as unexciting as a gas-ball planet in this age of space exploration is the 'lump of crap rock' planet, which again isn't really a planet, just a huge lump of crap, useless rock.

Makes you wonder why we even bother looking. It really does.

Anyway, more as we get it.

Make Skoob1999's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
