image for Astronauts Abandon Ship
No longer the final frontier

The international space mission was briefly interrupted today when the crew had to abandon ship. The space station "Buggerall" was hit by floating debris, thought to be the remains of an earlier mission.

The crew were forced to flee to an old pirate ship somewhere in the magazine section. Captain Morse, an American astronaut is believed to be skippering this vessel. He explained how the crew had made their escape:

"We were able to transport ourselves through space and time with the help of a dodgy lamb casserole cooked by Skoobski, one of the Russian cosmonauts on board. This led to an outbreak of what I believe to be turbulence from Pissgums and Buck. This in turn created a wormhole. And here we are sailing the seven seas."

For now the crew remain onboard the pirate ship. Regular updates will appear. It is not known if they will ever return to the space station.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
