Irresistible force and immovable object celebrate their civil nuclear partnership

Leading minds from the world of high-energy physics have gathered for a weeklong orgy under the Swiss Alps, where each is hoping for a Big Bang with their newly installed Large Hardon Collider.

"It's better than s to the power x," said one ecstatic experimenter. "Firing particles of light at each other is a quadrillion times more fun than our last evening out at Laserquest - and European governments are actually paying us to get these atoms smashed."

Another explained "We intend to bash our tiny balls together so hard that you will literally feel the earth move," before returning to the screen to download more pictures of Carma Electron.

Rumours that the Large Hardon Collider is just a terrible misprint have quickly disappeared into the black hole that was observed to be hovering above it after the first few minutes, which experts are now calling 'Switzerland'. The Noball Prize Committee is rushing out awards to all concerned.
