image for The Pill Prevents HIV Transmission for Some!
Almost Dr TFR Pug, ABD wants to listen to your rhamnolipids

The good news is that some people will be protected from HIV transmission if the birth control pill is used properly. Experts on HIV transmission expressed outrage at the new report that attributed protective powers to the birth control pill not just in terms of pregnancy but also for some in stopping HIV infection.

Health groups have joined forces to warn the general populace against the misleading information in the new report. AIDS researcher Ph.D. candidate, TFR Pug denounced the report as some of the most misleading public health information since the myth that rhamnolipids were the cure for everything imaginable.

The authors of the new report sought to clarify their findings:

"Every claim we made is true! If sexually active couples would use the pill properly, practically no children would be infected, no matter the state of the adults' health. If those adults want to provide further protection for their children, they should also use condoms. Of course the best protection of all for their children would be if the adults would abstain from intercourse altogether or apart."
