image for Ham Radios Found to be Edible
KR4ZYNU7 washes it all down with a glass of chilled chardonnay

Dayton, Ohio (IP) Ham operator and experimenter KR4ZYNU7 has been doing a lot of ham radio experimentation as he waits out the next 11 year solar cycle peak.

This is quite common among ham radio operators who get bored to tears and often suffer bouts of temporary madness when the ionosphere is not in a reflective mood. One project that he has abandoned involved a sort of Viagra solution for the weak ionospheric behavior during the long off season. Another project was an actual "solar cycle" which he abandoned after finding out that it does not always pay to take things so literally.

One evening our amateur scientist was operating in the dark and he was making a sandwich. He accidentally placed a small ham radio between two pieces of bread and added some cheese and mayonnaise. He bit into it and discovered much to his amazement that it was actually pretty darn good tasting.

He immediately ran over to his telegraph key and began to pound out: dot dit dot dit dot dot dit dot which everybody knows means CQ in Hamese and soon ham operators who could pick him up on an 80 meter ground wave were heading for their refrigerators inside their ham shacks and began trying out the new recipe.

Beaautiful Italian cooking show hostess Rachaelina Ray heard about his new recipe and will have the hamster appearing on her weekly program. The American Radio Relay Society is featuring him on the cover of their magazine and dentist everywhere have seen a huge increase in the number of patients requiring emergency surgery.

Lafayette Electronics has also seen a monstrous rise in ham radio sales.

KR4ZYNU7 isn't sitting still. He is now experimenting with duck tape, butter fly, and pussy willow.
