Houston, TX-- Scientists from around the world are alerting their governments to a 'complex' pole shift coming on March 21. Astronomers say that is the day that Earth will pass through the galactic plane of the Milky Way. No real damage is expected, but billions of people are expected to become very confused.
"It's going to be a very messy situation." stated Dr. Karl Saygun. The famed astronomer gave some information in a press conference at NASA headquarters:
"The North Pole will become the South Pole. North America will become South America. North Carolina will become South Carolina, etcetera, etcetera." said Dr. Saygun.
Besides the pole shift on March 21, Earth will trade places with its mirror image, causing even more confusion.
"Left handed people will become right handed people. The Mideast will become the Midwest. The East Coast will become the West Coast. It's going to become very confusing." said Dr. Saygun.
The only good news is that there won't be any physical changes. The only thing to change will be people's perception.
"Just stay in bed March 21." suggested Dr. Saygun. "Everything should settle down after a few days."
