image for The Spoof Offers a Choose Your Own Font Option
"I love being able to choose my favorite font when I read stories on The Spoof."

A few days ago top satire site, The Spoof, went off line for several hours because editor Mark Lowton made a few changes that will benefit the many readers of The Spoof. He added a Spoof in Your Font option.

Readers can choose the type of font they want to read the stories featured on The Spoof. If a reader wants to convert the website's font into Comic Sans, they are now able to.

Other featured fonts are American Typewriter Condensed, Baskerville, and Marker Felt. For those who are feeling nostalgic and want to read things "old school" there are several calligraphy fonts in which to choose.

Says Jean Le Fete, "I've always wanted to read my stories in Wingding and Dingbats fonts, and now I can."

Lowton, states that if it is a hit with readers then he will add more fonts to the collection of 20 one can choose from. The Spoof in Your Font button is located on the red banner on top of the page. If you click on a link from Twitter or Facebook then the Spoof in Your Font button would be located near the title of the story.

When asked, Iain B said, "I suspect that the Font of All Knowledge will be the most popular selection, to allow people to understand the complex depths of the Spoof. I know I'd have use it."

Make Ellie James's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
