image for Pakistan Has Some Explaining To Do I Just Want Answers Damnit!

Once the dust has settled over the Al Qaeda leader's demise (if indeed it ever does) the international community have a long list of questions for the Pakistani government.

Following the discovery of Osama Bin Laden's whereabouts, and the subsequent year of covert surveillance, politicians the world over are demanding to know how the Pakistanis failed to alert the west to the fact that Bin Laden was hiding in a conspicuously ostentatious, heavily fortified, million dollar compound in Abbottabad, just north of Islamabad.

Within strolling distance of a Pakistani military academy, in a compound conspicuously grander than any of its neighbours, and within clear view of the major Karakoram Highway.

How come nobody noticed a six foot four inch tall Saudi Arabian, whose face has become known throughout the world, and turned him in?

It appears that the US Navy Seal had no such identification difficulties when he squeezed the trigger.

Al Qaeda have been as ruthless towards Muslims as they have been towards Christians. And the question remains for the Pakistani government: Were you, or possibly some of your representatives harbouring the world's most wanted individual?

Why was it US intelligence which finally, incontrovertably, established his whereabouts? Was there complicity involved?

Or was foreign aid money a factor?

Nobody is presently levelling accusations directly.

But there are many probing questions which demand answers.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
