image for Psalm 23 Frankie The J Kills Skoob With A Massive Eggy Fart

Yea though I walk in death's dark vale

Yet will I feel no ill

For thou art with me

And thy rod and staff me comfort still

The 23rd Psalm - Catholic version.

It was a bit like that when I first discovered the Spoof. I didn't have a clue what was going on, and it was a bit daunting.

But being the kind of individual who could bullshit for England, I stuck with it.

I'm so glad that I did.

I get to put up my feeble attempts at humour alongside some of the best in the business. I even heard a one liner of mine used by Bruce Foreskin tonight on Strictly Come Dancing.

At least, I think it was mine.

I thought when I joined this site that I'd stroll quite easily up the writer chart. That didn't happen. I thought because I'd gone high in the publishing world that the spoof would be a walk in the park.

I'm happy to report that it wasn't like that at all.

It was tough. There are some top writers on this site. And once you realise how tough it can be, you either stick with it and keep plugging away - because it becomes addictive - or, as has been the case a few times in my experience - you throw your toys out of the pram, declare that you're 'too good for this site' and move on.

This is just my little way of saying a big thank you to all who participate here.

Personally, I've been truly blessed with the absolute privilege of meeting four of my fellow spoofers face to face (sad for them, because I really am one ugly motherfucker - not literally a mother..., obviously) and they've all been absolutely brilliant.

Charming and wonderful company.

Never a let down.

So, folks, without being morbid, or being a miserable bastard in any way - some of our number are faced with difficult days ahead. The circumstances are irrelevant, but in many ways, we're kind of all like brothers and sisters.

Here's to all who spoof!

And a big thanks to Mark for making it all possible!

All the very best to all of you

Skoob.

More as we...you probably guessed the rest.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
