image for We are america these colors don`t last

Independence day is here, for the United States; a day we celebrate our history, culture and right to determine our destiny. We have also been introduced to the concept of Patriotism, in recent debates between the Presidential Candidates. So, I wanted to look at some of the reasons why, we love our nation and what being free has done for us.

Only in America, could we have an electoral process that could elect a great leader like George W. Bush. George Bush, a man of little wealth and great intelligence, but earned his respect with impressive business decision; a leader that has improved our reputation around the globe. A leader that has been in the forefront of building a strong economy; preventing us form entering costly, drawn out wars that strain our national economy and psyche. A leader that has driven down the deficit and thusly has protected future generation from this burden; a leader that has the highest approval ratings in the history of public office. We all know without America, there would be not George w Bush.

A nation that decades ago invested in alternative fuel sources and prevented another 70`s like gasoline crisis. Research that would prevent us from being raped by Oil companies and 4 dollar a gallon gas prices. We here in America realize that a great Nation needs energy and technology to sustain itself: we have meet that challenge and continue to be world leaders in this aspect.

America has the lowest rates of crime and incarceration in the industrialized world. Rates of crime lowered by innovative Law Enforcement and Offender rehab strategies, which have almost wiped out crime. America now has the safest cities in the world.

America, a nation that protects its borders from millions of illegal immigrants. America has shielded itself; unlike European nations from costly immigration draining social welfare programs and causing drastic culture change.

These are only just a few reasons why; we live in the greatest country on earth, that isn't China and will continue to be a world power for months to come

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
