image for An Interview With Rupert 'Ginger' Grint Rupert 'cutie' Grint

After what happened with his co-star Daniel Radcliffe, I must say I am some what put off to interview Rupert Grint, but I am reassured that he is a lot different to his saucy fellow wizard, so sceptically I arrive at the respectable cafe the young ginger suggested we meet.

I turn up early and to my surprise the actor is already sat there with his frothy coffee. I walk up to him and on seeing me he stand up and pulls a chair out for me. My first impression of him, is what a gentleman.

He orders me a drink and we get down to business.

So Rupert, what was it like at the age of 11 to be suddenly projected into worldwide fame?

At the time amazing. One day I am a completely normal boy and the next I am on the set of one of the biggest movies ever, wearing my wizard cloak and swishing my wand.

Were there any disadvantages?

I think some people think that we (Daniel, Emma and him) missed out on our childhoods and that we had to grow up too fast, but I disagree. We were 11 so our childhoods were nearly over and we had so much fun on set.

Do you still have fun on set with Daniel and Emma?

To be honest, no. I suddenly feel as i we are drifting apart. Daniel is into drinking, smoking and girls and Emma is off getting high most of the time. I feel as if they are only there for the money now a days and I hope that doesn't reflect in the quality of the last to films.

Are you worried about your co stars?

Yes, yes I am. Dan is smoking a hundred a day which is not good for his health and I think he may be a sex addict and well, Emma needs to go into rehab for other reasons.

So why is it that they have gone off the rails whilst you have stayed...normal?

I don't know. I am the oldest of us, but I don't really think that has anything to do with it, I just think that I am more in control of myself.

So Rupert just out of interest, are you single?

(turning slightly red) Yes, afraid I am, I am not good with girls I am far too shy. Daniel always gets all the girls as he is Harry Potter but maybe it would be nice for Ron to get a girl ones in a while.

Personally, I found you more attractive that that scarheaded Harry, surely you must get some girls?

Well yes I admit that I have had a few, but I am like Ron, there has only ever been one girl for me.

I don't ask Rupert who she is as it is blatantly obvious as he stares at his wallet photograph of Emma Watson herself. Poor Rup can't he see girls like her never fall for nice guys like him.

So lastly, what is next for Rupert Grint?

Well obviously we have to finish filming the last two Harry Potter's, but after that I am planning to do loads more films, maybe reinvent myself as a sort of Hugh Grant, who always gets the girl in the films he is in.

As the interview comes to a finish, I look over at Rupert's scruffy ginger hair and cute smile and can't help falling madly in love with him, so that is why I have a dinner date with him later.
