This is something that happened sometime ago in my native village in the southern state of India. It may sound very uncanny, but it is true. Believe it or not this is exactly what happened and I have still not been able to come over it.

I was on one of my vacations in my village enjoying the the cool southern winter. The people around were all good and friendly. There was celebration in the neighbours house cause a woman had given birth to a baby girl after almost 15 years. They were all known to me since I was a child. The baby was really very cute and quite big for a new born baby.

On this particular day i.e the fifth day of the baby's birth, I went to see the new born baby. All the family members were busy with their daily chores and the mother of the baby was fast asleep. The baby though was wide awake. I felt the urge to pick the baby and take her out in the verandah of the house. I was happily enjoying cuddling the cute bundle in my arms. There was no one around except for the cool winter air which could make anyone drowsy.

All of a sudden I felt the baby wriggle in my arms. I held on to her tightly so that doesn't tumble down and fall. The baby I felt was growing in my arms. I wasn't holding on to her any longer , cause she was no more in my arms. Believe it or not the baby was actually walking around in the verandh with only a daiper on her tiny body. She was smiling and enjoying the cool air in the verandah.

I thought I was hallucinating in the day. I ran in to the house to call the other members of the family to see the miracle happening in the verandah. Undoubtedly, no one believed me , so they all rushed to the verandah to see for themselves. What they saw was exactly what they had been seeing the baby do every morning after a bath. She was sleeping peacefully like an angel with a broad smile on her face!!!

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
