Whether Steven Fawcett is ever found, thank you to him for capturing the jaded worlds imagination with his daring adventures. In the spirit of explorers like Jack London, William Perry and countless others, Steven Fawcett is a throw back to those earlier times when men dreamed of new discoveries, new frontiers and pushing the envelope to the unknown.
In an interview this week, former President Bill Clinton had this to say about Fawcett, "Well heck this is a man who didn't know fear and he could darn near do anything he set his mind to and find a way to make it work. Just look at his many failures to circumnavigate the globe in a balloon. It wasn't easy but its like my Mama always use to say, if you can't skin a 'coon the right way, skin it another way."
