image for NBC Says That The Cancelled "Playboy Club" Will Be Replaced By "Celebrity Planking" Which Will Be Hosted By Kirstie Alley

LOS ANGELES - A spokesperson for NBC has stated that the network really hated cancelling the new show the Playboy Club but added that the viewership was extremely low.

Chandler Chillmill, the NBC spokesperson noted that the shows premier only attracted a nationwide viewing audience of 491,902 viewers.

He added that only 9 viewers saw the show in the conservative state of Iowa.

Chillmill pointed out that Utah reported that only 11 people viewed the show and that included Brigham Joshua Flowerfork, 73, a devout Mormon and six of his seven wives. His seventh wife Hattie Sue, 24, was reportedly working at an all-night Pizza Gal Restaurant in Provo.

Mr. Chillmill informed TV ClickerWorld's Sangria Wine that the network will be replacing the Playboy Club with a new show called Celebrity Planking which stars a 100 pounds lighter Kirstie Alley as the shows host.

[EDITOR'S NOTE: For those readers who may not know what 'planking' is, it's the simple act of lying face down, with your arms to the side, and being photographed. The fad originated in Australia and quickly spread to Chile, Panama, Mexico, and now the United States.]

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
