image for Bruce Forsyth Gets His Long-awaited Title At Long Last
Cuddly toy, cuddly toy

Bruce Forsyth has managed to 'Beat the Clock'. He is soon to be 'Sir Bruce Forsyth' according to the latest on the Queen's Honour's list.

It's hoped he will be able to 'stand up' unaided after kneeling before Her Majesty during the upcoming ceremony.

83 year old Bruce must have been wondering if he'd ever be 'knighted' in his lifetime or would he be awarded his knighthood posthumously. Happily as mentioned, he DID manage to Beat The Clock and can now throw away his lucky cuddly toy, which he has been holding onto since he received his OBE a in 1998.

It is rumoured that the Queen has been practising the old,

'Nice ta see ya...' 'Ta see ya nice' refrain.

We will have to wait until the ceremony to see if this exchange between the Queen and Bruce actually does take place.

Make Lady Godiva's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
