image for Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato To Record A CD Featuring Updated Versions Of Beatles Songs
Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez plan to visit Liverpool's Penny Lane in the summer.

LOS ANGELES - Justin Bieber has stated that he will be going into The West Coast Woodstock Recording Studio located in Tarzana to record a CD featuring updated Beatles songs.

Bieber, who has rewritten most of the songs that will be appearing on the CD which is tentatively titled Turn Left At Penny Lane will be accompanied on the songs by Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato.

Justin said that one of the very first songs he remembers singing was "Norwegian Wood," which he has redone as "Norwegian Woodpecker."

That song will be featured on the CD along with "I've Just Seen a Smiley Face," "I Wanna Hold Your iPod," "Abbey Roadkill," and "The Long And Winding Yellow Brick Road."

Justin said that he and his girlfriend Selena first came upon the idea as the two sat at a Burger Bandit in Avocado Heights.

He said that Selena had never really heard any of the songs by the Beatles except for "Yellow Submarine" and that was because growing up in Grand Prairie, Texas their next door neighbor Leona Dingduffin who was 98, used to sing it every afternoon to her pansies, petunias, and posies.

Demi Lovato will sing the lead on the song, "Ticket To Ride But You Must Be This High" which she added has been mentioned as possibly becoming the theme song of the 2011 Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park season.

Selena Gomez will take the lead part on "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da Sis-Boom-Bah." And Justin and Selena will sing a duet on "Lucy In The Sky With Diamond Earrings."

The executives at The West Coast Woodstock Recording Studio hope to have the CD in the record stores by June 24, which is Flying Saucer Day.
