image for Lady Gaga Shows Up at Fashion Week as Jimmy Hoffa
Gaga decided not to go with the young Hoffa look

NYC - Those attending fashion week in New York City this past week were not surprised when they witnessed Lady Gaga appear as missing union boss, Jimmy Hoffa. Dressed in a grey pin-striped suit with blue silk tie and men's black steel-toed work boots, Gaga epitomized workers' rights.

Gaga's hair was slicked back and though she walked with a New York attitude, the entire act was Midwestern union. Getting the inspiration of her outfit from the protests that continue in the State of Wisconsin by public workers against a bill introduced by Republican Governor Scott Walker to do away with the collective bargaining rights of public servants in the state, Lady Gaga told the press that she didn't need to say a word, that her outfit spoke volumes.

In fact, the outfit was so realistic that at one point, a woman pointed and claimed that it was Hoffa come back from the dead. "Why is he here, though?" asked Velma Vodinsky, the wife of a rich industrial titan who was at fashion week to buy some new cocktail dresses for upcoming social soirees.

"Sure, it is Mercedes Week," said Vodinsky, "but what does expensive luxury cars have to do with workers' rights?" she asked as she motioned for the waiter to bring her another glass of champagne and waited to ask Lady Gaga for her autograph.
