Charlatan nutritionist and TV presenter Gillian McKeith "fainted" live on I'm a Celebrity this evening. She was facing yet another Bush Tucker trial when she fell to the ground, thus missing out and giving legend Linford Christie the chance to win food for the camp.
She became famous for fronting the show, "You are what you eat", although health professionals have criticised her nutritional advice and questioned the validity of her qualifications, specifically her PhD.
Seamus Gullet of the pressure group "Quackwatch" said of her show, "If the premise is true, and you are what you eat, then what the hell does she eat? Ugly, ginger, freckly, menopausal skeletons?"
Viewers clearly want to see the woman suffer, but Gillian Mckeith being in the jungle is as pointless as Heather Mills being asked to repeatedly kick someone up the arse. It just doesn't stand up.
Seamus Gullet adds, "It's the assorted creepy crawlies and snakes I feel for. Spending time in an enclosed space with that hideous freak probably means they'll have to spend time in quarantine just to recover."
