Our resident crackhead reporter in Hollywood, Paul Gollum, reports that plans are afoot for production of what will probably be the greatest musical movie ever made. For ten- year olds.

Grease.

It would appear that John Travolta and Olivia Newton John have been pencilled in for the lead roles in what promises to be a proper musical extravaganza, with a theme by Jersey Boys, Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons. a car race on the same LA river they used in Terminator 2 and a million other movies, incorporating a climactic musical finale, set in a fairground, which promises to make Olivia Newton John - or Olive Neutron Bomb, as she's known to her friends - look drop dead gorgeous and seriously glam.

And Travolta looking dead cool.

With his leather jacket and quiff, and that ever so cheeky, boyish, dimpled grin.

But we also hear that the project's producers are hoping for a slew of chart topping hits on the back of the movie.

Our Hollywood movie soundtrack expert crackhead, Joshua Bogus told us:

"This could be really big, both in ticket and record sales. They've got some good stuff in there, Grease, You're The One That I Want, Greased Lightning, Summer Nights... these people could launch careers here. Just between us, I reckon that if they also made a movie about an Italian American New Yorker from Brooklyn who goes out dancing on Saturday nights wearing a white suit, they could clean up. Especially if they use Bee Gees music.*

However, the veracity of all this remains to be seen, as our reporters are notoriously unreliable. But time will tell. Probably. If it's interrogated vigorously enough.

More as we get it.
