Wuthering Heights - Better Than The Fear?

Lily Allen may have won 3 Novello awards for her songwriting and her interpretation of 'The Fear' but according to 1970s music buff Fluff Babcock she'll never be as good as 70s weirdness icon Kate Bush who stunned a nation with her squeaky voiced rendition of 'Wuthering Heights'

The iconic 70s football anthem, inspired by the book 'Out On A Wild Windy Moor' by Heathcliffe Bronte, brother of renowned Victorian novelist Kathy Cookson who wrote some serious stuff about life in the north east is revered as an all time classic by Fluff Babcock, ex-hospital radio shock jock and tree surgeon from Harrogate.

"Lily Allen's all right if you like that sort of thing," Babcock told us. "But she'll never be another Kate Bush as long as the hole in her arse points south. Wuthering Heights was a classic, as was Wow and that other one, Man With A Baby In His Eye. And not only that, Kate Bush could ballet dance a bit, and my mate thought she was the sexiest thing on two shoes, with her long dark hair and that."

Fluff's mum, Cindy beams with pride as she sits watching her son in his glittery platform shoes extolling the many virtues of Kate Bush, but she doesn't necessarily agree with his point of view.

"He's all right is our Fluff," she smiled. "But he can be a bit of a cock at times. Everybody knows that Dame Vera Lynn is the true Princess of Pop."

More as we get it.
