52nd Star Trek sequel SHATNER EATS THE DEATH STAR: release date 2012

Don't expect to see Spock in the 52nd Star Trek film sequel now in the works for 2012.

The 79-year-old bisexual half-Vulcan tells the Toronto Sun he's retiring from all acting gigs, including appearances as Leonard Nimoy, "I've been doing this professionally for 60 years," he says. "I want to get off the stage."

After a few more sci-wi-fi conventions he's got booked, he'll be done with those, too. I'm so grateful to the Nimoy fans," he says. "but I have to put the needs of my family first."

Insiders say the source for this decision was Spock's life partner, Hikaru Sulu, who married Spock in May 2008 under a short-lived California law allowing drive-thru nuptials.

Opponents of quickie divorce, gun control nuts and people who oppose marriage between such unharmonious mixed couples as a MAN and a WOMAN all banded together with the Mormon Church and other fringe loonies to repeal the law later that year. However, during those idyllic summer after days, Spock and Sulu became husband and husband, until death do they part.

Since no one knows how long half-Vulcans live, that may be quite some time.

When asked why he encouraged Spock to retire, Hikaru had this to say, "Spock has given his life for the UFP and worldwide fandom, he deserves some time away from the madding crowds...to be precise, I want him home every night, thank you, I'm tired of watching Star Trek reruns late at night because I can't sleep."

Rumours that the retired UFP Captain and Japanese-American, Hikaru Sulu, only married Spock for those sexy pointed ears and finds 'round-ears' a major turn-off, were denied by his publicist.

Make Tragic Rabbit's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
