Ace atheist Richard Dawkins had a shock yesterday morning when he discovered the "face of Jesus" on his kitchen door.
Dawkins, author of "The God Delusion" was left stunned when he was confronted by the image engraved on the wood.
"When I closed the door last night, carrying my mug of Horlicks, I was reassured by the usual image of Charles Darwin", he said, shaking. "This morning I arose and found the picture changed beyond recognition. I have seen the facade of Bertrand Russell in my toast on several occasions but this is something completely unexpected."
Liv Turegretit, a spokesperson for the Anglican Church, offered, "Cute, but who actually knows what Jesus looked like?"
