Megastars to rescue Greek economy

All round nice guy Peter Andre has today revealed his plans to release a charity single with fellow Cypriot George Michael to help out the Greek government.

In an interview with high-brow celebrity weekly Conceit, Peter said, "Oh man! I'm so concerned about the Greek economy. I was watching the TV the other day and I thought this just ain't fair guys. Greece is a great nation and just doesn't deserve this bad press."

"I really hate the idea that wonderful country is having to go begging around Europe. Then it hit me - I could totally solve this with a charity single. That's when I rang up George Michael, he was really laid back and said "Yeah sure man, I'll do whatever". "

The single, a re-written re-make of George Michael's hit song Faith, contains clear messages of support from the two musical superstars, as this extract shows:

Well, we guess it's really nice that we can give you money
We know not everybody wants to give money to you.

We won't think twice before we give this song away
You gotta lot of debts to pay, we're gonna rescue you

Oh - You need some time out from the "bankrupt" label
Time to pick loose change up off the floor.

Oh - Market ratings say that you're unstable
Well - They've given you 'junk status'
And said your structure must reform

But you've got to have faith
You've got to have faith ...

The single will reportedly be available for download shortly (maybe), and will further Andre's prospects of becoming a proper Saint.
