image for Live Sex On The One Show - Christine Bleakley In Tears
An Irate Viewer Writing In To The One Show

The BBC was inundated with complaints from furious viewers last night, as The One Show descended into chaos with a shameless display of live on camera sex, which left presenter Christine Bleakley in tears.

During an item on the show about rabbits, the camera went into close-up on some cute, furry bunnies, one of whom, a buck rabbit named Rodney, promptly hopped aboard a doe and started humping her for all he was worth.

Instead of cutting away, the cameras focused on Rodney's frenzied humping, as Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles corpsed in fits of hysterical laughter.

"It was disgraceful," viewer Audrey LeFevre of Frustration Close, East Sussex, raged. "The rabbit was thrusting. And thrusting. He was insatiable. He couldn't stop himself. I just can't help but sympathise with that poor doe, being humped and humped and humped like that. Awful. That Rodney was humping and thrusting and having it at that little doe in such a frenzy that at one point, the little plastic fence went flying. Awful. Terrible business. Do you have a glass of brandy handy?"

In the midst of the uproar, presenter Christine Bleakley, wiping away tears of laughter, was heard to utter:

"That's what it's like for us girls."

Our very own authority on rabbits, Anne Shuttlecock told us that it's just what rabbits do, and that it's nothing to get aerated about. Describing a pet buck rabbit belonging to her daughter, she told us:

"When she lets him out in the garden, he humps all the does, then he humps the kiddies' ball, and then he has a go at the concrete rabbit on the patio. They're little buggers is rabbits. They only think about one thing. Unlike my useless great lump of a husband..."

Quick!

More as we get it!
