Art Imitates Life While Imitating Art While Imitating Life

Los Angeles, CA - Another Star Trek actor has come out of the closet and revealed his true identity. Leonard Nimoy admitted today he really is an alien from the planet Vulcan and his real name is Mr. Spock. He came to Earth about 50 years ago, and began an acting career. 'Leonard Nimoy' is a pseudonym, and means 'pointy ears' in the Vulcan language.

"I am firmly convinced I do exist. I think, therefore, I am." said Mr. Spock. "It was necessary to hide my real appearance from frightened earthlings." he explained. "Although it is illogical, sometimes it is best to 'hide in plain sight', as you Americans might say.

Mr. Spock, pretending to be Leonard Nimoy, contacted Gene Roddenberry, and gave him the idea for the Star Trek series. Mr. Spock, disguised as Leonard Nimoy, then won the role of Mr. Spock.

"It is life, imitating art, while imitating life. It has a rather twisted, pretzel logic to it." said the Vulcan.

Mr. Spock says he has enjoyed his time on Earth, but he is also very worried about other aliens interfering in Earth affairs.

"Your government is infested with Romulans. Your scientific community is infested with Ferengis. Most of your entertainment community has been taken over by the Borg. This cannot continue." he warned.

Mr. Spock expects things to come to a boil in 2012, and that is his main reason for staying on Earth.

"The year 2012 will see 'the shit hit the fan', as you Americans would so quaintly phrase it." he said
