image for Nick Jonas Headlines at Mardi Gras
Jonas Fans. Young. Impetuous. Not able to afford the trip to the Big Easy.

New Orleans will be a busy town with the start of Mardi Gras festivities, and excitement around the New Orleans Saints in the Super Bowl, but Nick Jonas will add to the attraction by making several appearances along Bourbon Street this weekend.

Starting at the dueling piano bar inside Pat O'Brien's, Jonas will try to relate to a throng of drunken 30 year olds, with haunting renditions of teenage love ballads that nobody has ever heard of. From there Jonas will work his way down the street to three other Blues and Zydago Jazz clubs, featuring the same playlist while trying to relate the music to a drunken throng of 40 and 50 year olds.

Jonas' schedule will conclude with a special event for the women of AARP at the Court of Two Sisters restaurant. Jonas will modify his playlist slightly, exchanging 379 references to the word "girl" for "grandma" in all his lyrics. Event Promoter Al Waizpander commented on the Jonas concert experience. "Nick might struggle a bit with the folks just out of his own age group, but he's got a lock on the blue hairs. Grandmothers just love him".

Featured songs at the event will include Jonas favorites like, "Girl, You're on My Mind", "Girl, oh Girl", "My Girl", "You go Girl", "Girl, its All About You, Girl", and "Girly Girl". Jonas apparently refuses to perform the smash hit single "Girl", because it brings back too many bad memories from a previous relationship.

The Jonas roving concert will start this Saturday at 7:00 PM, Eastern Standard Girl time.
