image for Spoof Writer Sells Online Identity To Workmate
Take It Away Dave!

You really can't believe everything you read on The Spoof.com as a breaking news story perfectly illustrated in the early hours of this morning.

Spoof writer, Skoob has sold his online Spoof writing identity to a workmate, so far named only as Dave. The exact amount of the transaction - which may well be illegal - hasn't yet been disclosed, but ball-park figures suggest somewhere in the region of £3.12p and a packet of cheese and onion crisps.

In what is thought to be an unprecedented move, Skoob told us:

"Me mate Dave had been looking at the Spoof and telling me how much he enjoyed reading all the daft articles. So to save him the bother of messing about filling forms in and logging on, I sold him my online identity. He's alright is Dave, not the sharpest tack in the carpet, but he's okay. And I felt I was getting a bit stale anyway, so here's Dave."

A smiling Dave told us:

"I got it for a bargain price - the identity I mean - and now I just click the mouse and I'm off and running, a fully fledged Spoofer!"

We asked Dave what he would be bringing to the Spoof table?

"Mostly stories about fighter planes, I expect," he told us. "I'm well into fighter planes, me. There must be thousands of funny stories about combat aircraft. And matchbox covers. I have a massive collection of them."

Take it away Dave.

Make Skoob1999's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
