New York, NY-- Modern technology is once again performing miracles and pairing two singers from distant decades together. Sad, strange, Scottish songbird Susan Boyle will duet with the King Himself--Elvis Presley. The dazzling duo will perform a duet of Elvis's "You Ain't Nothin' But A Hound Dog" for charity. The music video and the online release should both be ready just before the Christmas holidays.
The video uses a concert performed by Elvis in Harlem in 1956. Clever editing and computer enhancement makes it seems like Susan Boyle is right there with Elvis in black and white. The twosome sing "You Ain't Nothin' But A Hound Dog". Susan is in a dog costume the entire time, barking like a dog, as Elvis sings.
Susan said she didn't mind being the dog, and it was all for her favourite charity, anyway. The charity is called 'Cats Without Borders' and it is a charity for all the wondering cats of the world. Susan said she hopes to raise a million dollars for her 'pet' project.
Susan says she's also looking forward to a duet with Frank Sinatra next year. She will sing 'Strangers In The Night' with the Chairman of the Board. Susan will be the stranger.
