Hollywood was left speechless today, after Nicolas Cage managed to convincingly act out one whole scene in his new film Ghost Rider 2.
It is reported that some staff on the film set had actually fainted after this unusual episode.
"Derek", a Lighting Engineer on the film revealed "We just couldn't believe it. We thought we would have to get Nic to mouth the words as normal, and then dub in the voice of a 17 year old slack-jawed yokel. But this time, he managed to get the words out without dribbling."
Candlelight vigils were held around the world, after entertainment website TMZ broke the story. It is believed that their message boards have been choked with traffic, with many members pleading with Nic to go back to his old ways.
Mark Kermode, a BBC film critic rambled "I am deeply shocked, as is the entire industry. The acting on Con-Air was as convincing as setting someone's hair on fire, whilst molested them with a Leather shoehorn."
