image for Danny Dyer to be given his own Postcode

Danny Dyer has announced that he is to be given his own East End Postcode.

The 32-year-old actor admitted that he no longer considers himself an actor and is now officially a London Postal District.

Dyer, who previously had his own Deadliest Men programme on Bravo, will now concentrate on setting up a jellied eels stall and Boozer situated within his boundary.

"I'm even considering changing my name," he told Zoo magazine. "I've been trying to get E16 but Canning Town beat me to it. The guvnors have said I can slot in after South Woodford and have E19, pukka."

The Football Factory star added: "When you're as cockney and East London as I am you deserve the facking respect, I don't mind if my films get slagged off because it's a part I'm playing but I'm facking East End through and through so I want people to look at the map and think of me."

Earlier this year, Dyer was tipped for a part in EastEnders after he met with controller of BBC drama production John Yorke. However, he eventually claimed that he had turned down the chance to join Albert Square because he wanted to dedicate his time to having an extension to the Jubilee line placed up his "'arris".

The pug faced talent dodger proclaimed "Have a facking butchers at that and dan't give me any pony ya mug!" before donning a Pearly King's coat doing the Lambeth Walk down the Apples and Pears.
