image for Britney's "Circus" Interrupted By Dwarf's Death

After this past Monday, Britney Spears says she will never take her Circus act outside the US, Canada and Europe.

The nation of Thailand offered Britney and her group to do a one night stand in Bangkok and offered to pay as much as three U.S. or European performances so, after discussing it with her manager and others in the show, she decided it was safe enough and gave a great performance this week.

"I don't think we've received more applause anywhere and they kept clapping and stomping until we came back out for one more song and three more bows.

The trouble occurred during the final song after the show was basically over and no one wanted to leave.

"So I came back out, the band got ready and we did one more number. I wish we hadn't."

You see, all during the Circus performance, The Thais had kept a good segment of their own circus in the background and sides. Britney's manager agreed that it would be great and if it had worked out right, they would attempt some shows in Florida combining with some of Barney & Baily acts.

"I didn't even see what happened", Britney told an API reporter afterward. "But I heard this huge gasp from the audience and then great applause."

What the crowd had witnessed was one of the dwarf clowns that had been jumping off and on a trampoline, had hit it at an angle and bounced right into the mouth of a yawning hippo.

At first the crowd apparently thought it was a part of the act and had applauded, but that section had suddenly been closed off as emergency people did what they could.

"I'm just glad the little guy is OK", stated a shaken Britney.

However, as was reported on the worldwide news, the dwarf had died from a crushed air passage. The report also stated that hippos have an automatic swallowing trigger that had closed her mouth immediately as she swallowed the dwarf.

Whether Britney now knows the facts or not, she says she will do no more acts in Thailand.
