Honolulu HI-- An air-force reconnaissance plane spotted an uncharted atoll about 300 miles southeast of Honolulu today. A landing party found six graves and the remains of a seventh person in a grass hut. The bodies appear to be that of the passengers and crew of the SS Minnow, which disappeared in 1964. The find appears to solve one of the greatest mysteries of the 20th Century.
The landing party searched the small island and determined many shocking things about the castaways. Their lifestyle was very basic. There were neither phones, nor lights, nor motor cars, not a single luxury--it was as primitive as can be.
It looks like the seven castaways made many attempts to leave the island, but something always went awry. It appears they simply gave up after only a few years, perhaps it was just too frustrating.
The castaways discovered something on the island that could have dampened their motivation--marijuana. The atoll is covered with Cannabis sativa. It looks like they all spent many, many happy years both cultivating and smoking the weed. One of the castaways, a professor, developed many remarkably strong hybrids of marijuana over the decades.
The landing party also found hundreds of exotic bongs made from coconut shells scattered all over the island. The searchers also found an astonishing amount of clothing and stage props. It is unknown how or why they brought so much with them on their three-hour tour.
The castaways all lived very long and very stoned lives on their little atoll, most of them lived into their eighties and nineties. The castaways tried to make the best of things, it was an uphill climb.
