image for Glastonbury Mourns Death Of Michael Jackson
Ah, bless 'em. Like pigs in shit

There was a poignant air of quiet reflection at Glastonbury today after Thursday's news of the death of the former King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Music fans were united in their grief over the superstar's passing, and took care to show respect to the man responsible for the success of every one of today's black music acts.

Jenny Crank, 19, said:

"Yeah, my Mum used to like listening to Michael Jackson. Didn't he do the Smurf Song?"

Others showed similar admiration. Matthew, 21, from Ruislip, told us:

"Jacko was the best! That Thriller video was groundbreaking, and the Quincy Jones production on the Off The Wall album stands, even today, as a testament to black music."

His friend asked who Quincy Jones was, and Matthew answered:

"Fucked if I know - I'm reading off that board the reporter's holding up. Who's Martin Jackson?"

Make Monkey Woods's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
