A gauntlet type challenge has been thrown down - and we are awaiting developments to see whether it will be accepted and indeed achieved.
The challenge? Simply for the very large Ms Feltz to squeeze into the very thin Paris Hilton. Could this be done - well several thousand pounds have already been placed with William Hill (not the bookmaker but the one who lives just outside Hatfield), saying that this feat is impossible.
"I've got a lot riding on Ms Feltz and her impossible dream," stated a rather intoxicated Mr Hill.
Apparently this all started because of a chance remark on Ms Feltz rarely listened to morning talk show on BBC Radio London. A caller was complaining about the height of dogs and how they should all be regulated when he mentioned that you can't take dogs into the Paris Hilton. Because of the increasingly poor quality of telephone lines in London the effervescent Ms Feltz thought he said "you can't get a dog into Paris Hilton". Thus the challenge was born "but you could get me into Paris Hilton" said Vanessa for no logical reason - and the switchboard went mad - over the remaining two hours of the show the usual collection of saddos and misfits that make up the audience telephoned to say whether or not this was indeed possible.
So - at 4pm tomorrow (Sunday) - if its not raining, Ms Feltz will appear just by speakers corner in London Hyde Park. It is hoped that Paris Hilton - believed to be staying in nearby Park Lane - will also arrive and the challenge will then commence.
Struggling will be allowed for thirty minutes whilst the hoped for crowd will be entertained by Susan Boyle singing "The'yre coming to take me away".
The result will then be published on Monday - so watch this space
UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE.
What a huge disappointment to the assembled crowd of nearly six people - Paris Hilton failed to make an appearence to take up the challenge. Having said that, Venessa also did not make an appearence - so the whole thing was a bit of a waste really....... Still, I enjoyed the train ride home, it was quite a nice day and I also brought a lolly.
