Los Angeles, CA - Victoria Beckham AKA Posh Spice has admitted in a candid interview with The Spoof that her sour facial expression is not a result of uncontrollable moodiness or snobbery as so many people believe, but is a result of a very great wind change which occurred whilst visiting New Orleans several years ago with husband David Beckham.
"Mum used to tell me not to let my face go into an angry or moody expression. She used to say that if the wind changed suddenly it would stay like that. I was like well I would rather have my face looking sombre than all happy with huge smile lines on my cheek and wrinkles around my eyes. She told me to be careful what you wish for. She was right." Posh said, sighing. "Dave and I were visiting New Orleans a few years ago and oh he he he ..it was so funny .I was pulling all these 'moody' expressions on my face and David was talking in a really high pitched voice. We were just mucking around, you know. We didn't think any harm would come out of it. The next thing you know, the wind suddenly changed, it turned in the other direction and started howling and whistling. That was when my face froze - and has remained that way ever since. David's voice also froze and he's been talking in a high pitched tone ever since. He used to sound like Peirce Brosnan."
Posh stopped talking for a minute and a sad, reflective expression came over her face - which is only a couple of degrees different to her usual sour expression. "That was the day that Cyclone Katrina hit New Orleans. See people don't' know that about us - they mock David and I because of my sour face and David's girly voice - but did anyone stop to think that something traumatic could have happened to us?"
Posh intends to trial a brand new anti-expression cream being launched on 1st June for Loreal. If the product is successful we should see Posh's expression return to its former glory by the end of the year. Sadly, there is nothing that can be done about David's voice. No, nothing.
