image for Iranian Mullahs Protest: Amadinejad is an Ape, Not a Monkey
Ape Ahmadinejad beats his meaty "war drum" against those monkeying around with his reputation

An Iranian Children's show unwittingly presented a small child announcing to his Persian audience that his father calls his stuffed monkey by the name of President of the Most Noble and Totally Oppressive Dictatorship of Iran. Censors and scaredc citizens alike gasped at the revelation.

Rarely on national media has any mockery been aired about the Holy Moley Muslim Terrorist Mob that runs Iran. Ayatollahs and Mullahs ran to the media outlets to deny the embarrassing slip.

Some religious leaders suggested that this was truly a compliment and a term of endearment. Others denied the equation of their president and a monkey. One mullah, the Ayatollah Rhode explained that President Ahmadinejad was Ape Not Monkey:

"Obviously those critics of the Ape Ahmadinejad wouldn't know the difference between an ass and an elbow or in this case an ape and a monkey's uncle!"
