Channel 5's chat show host, Trisha Goddard who has seen her show axed by programme makers, is hotly-tipped to replace Jonathon Ross's show on a Friday night, oddly called 'Friday Night with Jonathon Ross'. Following Ross's flop ratings, the BBC have taken the decision to get shot of him and employ the much prettier babe who can at least talk properly.
'Trailer Trash Trish' as she is known to her friends, told In Seine News;
"I am really excited to have the opportunity to have a late night show instead of an early-morning slot - I am really at my best at nights and viewers will see a different Trisha. The good news is that I shan't have to get up till midday and I shall be able to spend hours putting my make-up on instead of the 10 minutes channel 5 allowed me!"
Trisha, who is currently unemployed, but looking for a change, added that she would like to shake off the stereotyped image of agony aunt and be more sort of a 'Girl-next-door'. "I would love to work for the BBC and would do a far better job for only one tenth of the money that they lavish upon him! I think channel 5s' loss is BBC's gain"
"Oooh I'm sorry, I'm getting carried away again, I haven't even got the job yet; I know there are other contenders out there - but hey, let's be fair most of them probably already have jobs."
Other contenders are thought to be; Trevor McDonald, Derek Accora and Sharon Osbourne.
