LOS ANGELES (FMLiveWire) - Madonna has joined Britney Spears expanded visitations and now plays Grand Theft Auto 4 with the Spears' kids.

The two singers sang together on the 2003 track 'Me Against The Music' and shared an infamous, lingering kiss onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards that year.

Britney "never was allowed to have a childhood, you know, she was a star when she was a child," said Madonna, defending Britney's erratic and bizarre lifestyle.

"She didn't get to grow up and make mistakes privately...she's been under a microscope since she was a teenager, which I think is really tough, it's hard to evolve that way. Playing GTA4 helps us cope," she added as she blew a drug dealer away on the video screen.

GTA4 features Liberty City, a hyped-up mixture of downtown Los Angeles and New York city street gang warfare.

In its first week, the latest version of video game racked up $500 million in sales.

Grand Theft's story line concerns drug-trafficking, prostitution and murder. It's mostly the bad guys who get rubbed out, but if you get an urge to bludgeon a hooker or flatten some grandma as she hobbles across a pedestrian walkway, such homicidal acts are allowed by the designers of GTA.

"GTA4 really resembles George Bush's and John McCain's America," gushed Britney. "Giving it to my sons prepares them for the near future."

The Spears family also put aside their recent troubles as they celebrated sister Jamie Lynn's blossoming mom-to-be status at a baby shower.

Britney, who is currently embroiled in a custody battle for her two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline supported her 17-year-old sis who is expecting her first child in July.

"Hey, that guy looks like Kevin!" squealed Britney as she drove him over in a stolen car in GTA4.
