HOLLYWOOD -- Controversy magnet Mel Gibson today disclosed his intentions for his next film: a 3-hour saga based upon God's fiery destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The project, tentatively titled "The Passion of the Cretins," has encountered even more distribution problems than Gibson's previous flick. Many attribute this to the rampant homosexuality in Hollywood's inner circles.
"I'm not worried at all," says Gibson. "People will flock to see this one way or another. I'm just trying to work out the details for the release date; we'd like to see it out for a San Francisco premier, you know, in time for the Gay Pride Parade and all."
While rumors swirl about Gibson's reported interest in playing Lot, such A-list stars as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zellweger are confirmed to be in talks over the roles of his daughters. The cast of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" has also been tapped for the production.
GLAAD spokeswoman Roscoe DeLawrents called the announcement an outrage. She then proceeded to wipe her ass with a wad of pages from Leviticus.
