The King prepares for his comeback performance

With so many old pop acts coming back together to drag that last bit of money out of people with some imagined nostalgia, for something we hated then, but still believe that we really liked; it is not surprising that one of pop musics most famous people is making a comeback.

Thirty years after his death, Elvis Presley is to tour the UK staring in Wales, where his remains have been held in a secure scientific unit for over a quarter of a century.

The remains of 'The King' were re-animated by professor Hans Volfe, who had been hired by the Liberal Democrats to perform this operation as a part of their 2009 election campaign.

On his debut UK tour he will preform some of his most famous songs, along with several songs which he has written since his death in 1977. A spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats said "This resurrection is the first of many celebrity names that we want to bring back from the past for a twenty first century audience."

The tour will start in September and tickets will be on sale for around seventy five pounds.
