Third Earth - "We're the Thunder Cats, Ho " That's the headliner at the Orpheum theatre in Greenwich Village where a play is set to open outing the furry feline. The poster has several male cats in Zoot Suits talking down to a street-walking scantily-clad Lion-O, the one who had been entrusted to prevent the meat Sword of Omens from being penetrated into the brown Eye of Thunderas cheeks.
"I always thought he walked funny," said Panthro. Cheetara, who will not be in the production said, "That explains a lot, I thought it was me " Wily Kit and Wily Kat, the playful youngsters of the group said they love him anyway. "He tucks us in every night." "Yeah, and he gives us Jesus Juice to help us sleep." Go figure.
But Tygra is not so forgiving. "Hey, that might fly in Key West or San Francisco but, I'm not having it. Not that there's anything wrong with it, I mean, he's cute and everything but, that's just not the way I roll. And for the record, we were close, but not that close. As far as I'm concerned he can go wrap his gorgeous beefy arms around Mumm-Ra and kiss him with those sweet luscious lips while his mane is gently stroked, that's fine with me."
