NEW ORLEANS - Spike Lee recently commented in an article in Afro Sheen Magazine that white singers have no right singing rap music or hip hop music since it was a genre of music invented by blacks to be sung by blacks only.
The well-known film director even went as far as to mention non-black recording artists such as Kid Rock and Eminem.
Eminem is on a concert tour down in Argentina so he could not be reached for a comment but Kid Rock who just performed at the Voodoo Arena in New Orleans told Calcutta Cotton of Music Moments Magazine that the next time he sees the little bigoted weasel he will make it a point to knock his egomaniacal butt of his damn soap box.
Kid Rock says that music is music and he personally doesn't give a rat's ass if his songs are sung by rock and rollers, rappers, mariachi's, or a gay and lesbianite quartet from San Francisco.
SIDENOTE: Spike Lee will have a birthday on March 20. He'll be 58 going on 8.
