WASHINGTON, D.C. - Season 11 of American Idol is down to The Top 13 performers and there is one singer who is sitting on cloud nine.
San Jose, California resident Deandre Brackensick, 17, has just learned that the nation's First Family is pulling for him to win this year's American Idol competition.
Bracky, as his hair stylist FuFi Fondue calls him, was told by a reporter for Hollywood Innuendo that White House Press Secretary Cal Colfax had texted him letting him know what the president had told him after a White House State Dinner.
Fajita San Guacamole of Hollywood Innuendo said that the dinner was in honor of President Kumba Tinpura of the African nation of British Boomboobanda and that the president had remarked that of this year's Top 13 American Idol contestants Deandre Brackensick is the Obama family favorite.
Deandre who has one of the highest falsetto voices in American Idol history said that he first realized he could sing like a girl when he was just two-years-old.
He said that his mom showed him a video taken during his second birthday party and that he was singing "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia.
American Idol Judge Randy "The Dawg" Jackson noting that Deandre grew up in Hawaii has nicknamed him "The Coconut Kid."
Jennifer "La Tush" Lopez said that she likes his uncontrolled kinky hair and Steven "Lips" Tyler jokingly quipped that he wants to see his birth certificate.
American Idol Host Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest pointed out that Deandre was born in the same hospital as President Barack Obama, Honolulu's Our Lady of The Hawaiian Leis Hospital.
