London, England-- The two greatest detectives of all time have announced their engagement! Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Perot will marry each other in a civil ceremony on April Fools Day. Dr. Watson will be the best man for both gentlemen.
Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Perot met each other last year while working on a murder case in So-Ho. Their professional relationship quickly turned into friendship, and eventually love. Although both men are in the closet, their sexuality comes as no surprise to most of their fans.
"The truth has a way of revealing itself, mon ami." stated Hercule Perot. The Belgian detective twirled his little mustache and giggled. "The little gray cells inside my brain they go haywired when I am near my dear Sherlock." he giggled some more.
"When all other possibilities have been eliminated, then the impossible is the only alternative." said Sherlock Holmes about his sexuality. "It's a most singular relationship that I have with my Belgian counterpart. It is even closer than my deep friendship with Dr. Watson."
Both men will live together on Baker Street and continue to work cases together. They plan to honeymoon on the Orient Express and travel through Europe.
"I wish them well!' noted Dr. Watson. "What a shame they can't have offspring together."
