The IRS has issued a lien against mega super model Christie Brinkley for the more than half a million dollars it claims she owes in back taxes.
Records indicate that the 57-year-old polymerized beauty has $531,000 in debts to the goverment. She is reportedly worth $80 million, mostly from having a good divorce lawyer, real estate holdings in the Hamptons and her new line of fresh face cosmetics, notes the New York City Daily Gossiper, Sonya Soho Gottlieb.
Brinkley's spokeswoman, Clairise Dimple told the paper, "Christie Brinkley was totally surprised, shocked and stunned to hear that a tax lien had been filed, and has instructed her legal team to resolve the matter immediately before ex Billy hears the news."
Christie explains, "I donate millions to the cosmetic nano research industry and yes I have had a few procedures done on my super model gorgeous face. Isn't that tax free! Just look at my big delicious luscious lips, they are the first thing you see on my super cover girl face."
Earlier this year, Brinkley made her Broadway debut as Foxie Hart in the long-running production of Chicago. Before that, she turned actress in a 2009 episode of Ugly Betty and before that who knows what the hell she was doing!
She also recently launched her own 'from the fridge' skincare line, which is fully vegan. She says of her 'DNA Recharge Anti-Aging System', "I am committed to providing the highest quality beauty products that are affordable, all natural vegan, toxin-free, and no chemical preservatives. In addition, have only been tested on my publicist, closest friends, my daughter, my ex and are delivered in environmentally conscious popcorn packaging. Every product offered in my ultra skin care line, I have personally tested on my own super gorgeous face and I currently use them every single day."
"I have no idea what happened to those back taxes but I assure everyone that my scientifically engineered 'DNA Recharge Anti-Aging System' will continue to be available on the HSC." sighed Brinkley.
